I can't believe its been 9 years in the making. What Friends is to those
older than me, is what the Office is to me. Though I may have missed a
few of the later season episodessons, having so many seasons is what allows you to form a bond with characters in a way that could never be produced otherwise.

I have to admit though that what drew
me in to this show the most was watching Jim Halpert and Pam Beesley's
relationship blossom. It was insanely frustrating watching them grow
close and almost get together on so many relationships, so they day Jim
finally asked Pam out was one of the happiest in my life. They were the
glue that kept me coming back to this show week after week (though the
rest of the cast was also amazing to watch), and when they hit marital
problems, I kept thinking, if Jim and Pam can't make it, how could there
possibly be any hope for the rest of us in the world? But, like any TV
show, the ending was a happy one. Looking back on their wedding night,
the two realized what mattered most in life was each other and that
sometimes you have to make sacrifices for the ones you love. The video
montage of all their moments together, from the initial flirting to the
first kiss to the proposal to the wedding, definitely made me cry. Pam
and Jim are the ultimate couple, and I hope that maybe one day I'll be
able to find my own Jim Halpert.

| Congratulations to Jim and Pam for finding each other and the life they always wanted. |
There have been so many endings to
the TV shows in my life. First Gossip Girl and now The Office, it feels
like a phase in my life is coming to a close. Perhaps this means that
it's time for me to move on as well. But I will always be able to look
back on these times and remember just how great they were and how they
made me the person I am today. All I want to say is goodbye to The
Office. I promise I will never forget you.
